How to control the grain moisture content of grain

1.According to powder characteristics:composition, viscosity, humidity and temperature etc.. We should control the moisture content of grain in about 30%-28%.

(1) Too lack of moisture content, forming a ball will be too hard, and output is too low.

(2) Too much of moisture content, there will be too many big balls. The surface of the ball will be slimy nature, and easy to block the screen surface.

(3) Appropriate of moisture content, there will be forming too many balls easily and the output will be even high.

2.How to inspect the grain moisture preliminary in production process

Most practical and most simple method is hand feeling

Catch the materials that have formed a ball from the disc granulator, when you hand it, it can become a ball; when you touch it lightly with your fingers, it can be loose at once.

Thus you can granulate as many as grains, and the output is even high, and difficult to block the screen surface.

The disc granulator consists of a disc granulator, a heating system, a liquid supplying system and packing equipment.The basic principle of this system is union granulating. Powders will be cast up aslant by the rotating disc. Then under the influence of gravity, the powders will slide freely through the disc surface. At the same time, the fog drop-like liquid will be sprayed even into the powders. During this period, powders will unite, be covered by each other and at last form round granules.
